Heavenly. If you come through the Val Venosta Valley, past Gomagoi to Solda, this little word might well come to mind. Nestled between imposing 3,000-metre peaks, in the middle of the Stelvio National Park, lies the small village with its 400 inhabitants. A picture book idyll. And a perfect starting point for any nature adventure.
One step outside the front door - and you're off over hill and dale, out into nature and high into the mountains. Various hiking trails and mountain tours start right at the hotel. The car stays comfortably and safely in our garage.
Already the journey on the motorbike to the Hotel Paradies, which belongs to the MoHo hotels, is spectacular. And more high alpine, winding roads and breathtakingly narrow lanes await you in the border triangle of Italy-Austria-Switzerland. Solda is your perfect base for grandiose tours.
Solda is the glacier ski area in the Alps - and its slopes are right at your feet. Taking the „Kanzel“ ski slope, which runs right next to the hotel, you're straight into the skiing fun at 3,250 metres. In just a few minutes, the cable car takes you to the glacier area, with 44 kilometres of pistes and a fun park.
It pays off to travel to the Vinschgau Valley with your bike in your luggage. The cycle path there is made for pleasure cyclists, the sheer countless serpentines up to the Stelvio challenge the racing cyclist's calves. For e-bike and mountainbike fans, there are also plenty of routes that provide more adrenaline in the body.
